My name is Mrs. Horton and I have the privilege of leading Religious Education at St. Bede’s Catholic Junior School – a role which my mum so led admirably for 32 years. I feel extremely lucky to work in a school which truly embodies the Gospel values and educates children in light of the Catholic Faith.
I am passionate about my role and hope to inspire children on their faith journey with my love for music and art – Rejoice in Song and Bible Journaling Club are definitely highlights of my week in school!
I strive to support and guide our school as we fulfil our mission to celebrate life and learning. Through Religious Education Collective Worship and RSHE, I will work with my colleagues to ensure that the experiences encountered by the children enable them to enjoy life, life in all its fullness – John 10:10.
