Retreat

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Retreat is a special and valued part of life at St. Bede's Catholic Junior School, giving our children time away from the busyness of everyday school life to pray, reflect and grow in faith. Through prayerful activities, discussion and moments of quiet reflection, pupils are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God, explore the teachings of Jesus and consider how they can live out Gospel values in their daily lives. Many of our retreat activities take place in school but opportunities are also taken for journeys to St. Bede’s Church, Victoria Park, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King and St. Mary’s Lowe House.
