The Oscar Romero Award supports Catholic schools in realising and living their unique calling to empower young people and staff to become true agents of the change they want to see in the world. Through the award, schools embed the key principles of Catholic Social Teaching in their ethos and culture so that all within the school can experience life to the full.

As of September 2026, St. Bede’s Catholic Junior School is working towards achieving the Oscar Romero Award.
